What not to say, be kind.

After being diagnosed as depressed, a bi-polar with anxiety panic disorder I am more sensitive and aware of people’s words and and how to react to me whenever they learned I’m depressed. I don’t let it get to me as much as I can because these people has less understanding of my situation.

So what am I to do about it?

What are we about to do it?

It’s a struggle guys. We do understand that a lot of you don’t get it and we can’t force you to understand but we can educate you and hopefully through that, you somehow develop an understanding of our situation.

I made a video a couple of weeks ago of things what not to say to someone is depressed. I am sharing it again here in my blog and hopefully, whoever reading this, watch the video and get a new perspective.

The ones mentioned in the video are a just a few I’ve encountered and there are lot of articles mentioning the same things. I did this for Mental Health Awareness Month which is May. It is still May and before this month ends, I want to share it with you guys again.

Please be kind. Be more understanding. Learn to empathize. God knows, this world need a lot of those.

To those who suffers, do you have any request for me to make into a video? Let me know. You can comment or email me at s.naramirez@gmail.com.
