I usually talk to myself and tell myself good things to uplift my spirit. I try to make it convincing so that the negative mini me inside my head would go away. It’s not easy but I do this to remind myself that despite the negativity there is a positive side.
This is the last of the Power of Makeup Series (for NOW). I’ll rest up a bit on this and focus more on other projects like spoken word, poetry and videos on mental health (which is my biggest advocacy right now).
This is the second attire I wore during the shoot I had in Toronto with my good friend Raisa De Pano along with Chi as assist. For this set it’s more conceptual than fashion. It’s dainty and sweet and it’s a struggle for me to be err dainty and sweet because it’s not my style or my personality. For the first set ( B L A C K), please go here.
We shot this set late in the afternoon, like after lunch. What I like about the weather in Toronto at that time, that it was not too hot. It was really nice despite being summer. It felt like spring so even if we were shooting after lunch to late afternoon we didn’t die of the heat.
Hello! Here I am again with this series. This is part III. I don’t usually do sweet-style makeup. It’s so rare for me to do so. I usually go to edgy and gothic style of look but hey look I can do this kind of make-up too.

I present to you the Part II of my Power of Makeup project. You can view the first one over here.
Make-Up is a saving grace for me especially now that I suffer from depression. It keeps me inspired and feeling happy.
